Bio

Dr. Megan A. Weinkauf is an Assistant Professor of Accounting, Assistant Director of Graduate Programs, and Ethics Bowl Team Leader. She specializes in transformational leadership, neuroscience, and values-based decision-making, with current research interests in AI in accounting education, economic approaches to combating human trafficking, teaching strategies to help students learn complex concepts, and trauma-informed teaching strategies in the classroom.

Dr. Weinkauf has over 12 years of professional accounting experience in industries such as aerospace and defense manufacturing, energy, nonprofits, and entrepreneurial ventures. She holds a BSBA in Accounting with a Minor in Marketing from the University of Arkansas, an MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Human Resource Development, and is completing a Master of Accountancy expected in May 2026.

With this strong background in accounting, business strategy, and leadership, she is also actively engaged in her community, serving on Tulsas Ethics Advisory Council as a mayoral appointee.
