Bio
My name is Dr. Strout and I am an Associate Professor of English at NSU. I teach a
variety of freshmen and upper division writing and literature courses such as Composition
I and II, Introduction to Literature, Literature surveys (Brit Lit I and II), Women
Literature and others.
I am interested in various representations of body and disability/disease in fiction,
as well as gender studies, masculinity studies, war fiction
19th century British and Russian fiction, British Romanticism, Fairy tales, Folklore
and Myth, Gender Studies, Women literature, Gothic fiction
