Bio

Jodi Legnon, Ph.D., has taught Education courses at Northeastern State University since 2007. She currently teaches courses in the Teacher Education Program at NSU. Dr. Legnon earned her bachelor s and master s degrees from NSU and her Ph.D. from OU in Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum. She has taught at a public school, a technology center, professional development courses, and university courses. She also served as a University Coordinator at OU. Her research focus is on preparing pre-service teachers to effectively include children with autism spectrum disorder in the general education classroom.

As the Director of the SKILLS (Seeking Knowledge and Immersive Learning Leaders in a Suburban setting) Program, I enjoy being on an elementary campus with Pre-I Interns to facilitate and support their internship. It is so much fun to walk through the learning process of teaching.
