Bio
Dr. Sarah Krein is a Professor of Optometry at Northeastern State University Oklahoma
College of Optometry, where she has been a member of the faculty since 2016. Before
returning to NSU, Dr. Krein and her husband owned and practiced in a private optometric
practice in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. That experience continues to shape her approach
to teaching, clinical care, and mentoring future optometrists.

Her research interests reflect these same areas, with a particular focus on pediatric
vision, vision therapy, binocular vision, and aesthetics.
Dr. Kreins teaching interests include human anatomy and physiology, ocular anatomy
and physiology, and binocular and perceptual disorders. Clinically, Dr. Kreins interests
include pediatrics, binocular vision, vision therapy, primary eye care, and aesthetics.
