Bio
Dr. Leanne Campbell is an Assistant Professor in the Psychology and Counseling Department
at Northeastern State University. She also serves as a consultant with the OSU BRIDGE
Center through a federally funded Mental Health Service Professional Demonstration
Grant. A certified PK12 school counselor and American School Counselor Association
(ASCA) Emerging Scholar, her scholarship focuses on the intersection of school counseling,
counselor preparation, and school-based mental health. She also maintains a private
therapy practice in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Dr. Campbells research interests center on school counselor preparation, professional
identity development, supervision and mentorship, alternative pathways into school
counseling, and the development and retention of the school-based mental health workforce.
Dr. Campbells teaching interests include counselor development and professional identity,
clinical skills and supervision, school counseling, and the preparation of counselors
to provide ethical, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive services.
