Bio

Dr. Bisogno joined the College of Education at NSU in the Fall of 2012. She currently serves as the Associate Dean of the College of Education on the Broken Arrow campus and has served as the Curriculum and Instruction Department Chair and Special Education Program Chair in the past. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Exceptional Student Education and she received her Ph.D. in Leadership and Education with an emphasis in Exceptional Student Education from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. She taught in the public school setting for approximately ten years as a teacher of students with mild/moderate disabilities and severe/profound disabilities in the states of Florida and Alabama. Her area of expertise and research is in working with children with Autism. She loves instilling her passion of teaching children with disabilities to her undergraduate and graduate teacher candidates.
