Estimated Cost

The NSU Cost Calculator gives an early approximation of what a new student can expect to pay to attend NSU during the academic year 2018-2019. It is not an application for financial aid and the results are estimates, not guarantees.

The tuition amount shown is the standard rate for tuition and mandatory fees per credit hour enrolled. These are estimates based upon current tuition and fee rates. Tuition and fee rates for future semesters become official when they are approved by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. Until that action, the estimated tuition and fees rate is subject to change. Learn more information about guaranteed tuition rates.

Tuition amount totals are based upon the number of credit hours enrolled. In order to be considered full-time, an undergraduate student must enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours and graduate students in a minimum of six credit hours. Residents of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Texas may be eligible for a tuition waiver for a portion of their nonresident tuition. For complete details about eligibility, please visit Quad State Scholarship

In addition, the NSU Cost Calculator does not attempt to list all costs that an individual student may incur. Some one time fees have not been included and some students may have additional fees associated with specific courses taken.

For this estimate, traditional housing is considered a double occupancy room in our traditional residence halls. Learn more information about Housing & Residence Life.

The NSU Cost Calculator does include an average meal plan in the Housing & Residence Life estimate and $630 per semester for textbooks in the total estimate. It does not include estimates for expenses such as incidental items, transportation and entertainment.
