Bio

Proud Cherokee citizen. Joined NSU faculty in 2008. B.A. and M.A. in criminal justice from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock and Ph.D. from Sam Houston State University.

Research interests include the intersection between race, specifically Native Americans, and gender with crime and victimization. Current research focuses on fear and victimization; specifically any notable differences between Native American and non-Native American college students.
