Bio

Dr. Karen Carey is a published Professor of Education with over 20 years of experience in higher education. Prior to that she had 7 years of experience teaching public school in Texas and Oklahoma. Now in her 21st year as honors program director at Northeastern State University, she has mentored and overseen 200+ students through the undergraduate research process culminating in a presentation or a publication. Teaching interest includes a graduate level Educational Research course and serving as a research advisor to undergraduate education honors students.
