Jarilyn Haney, M. Ed., joined the faculty at Northeastern State University in 2016 as an Instructor of Special Education. She has since been promoted to Assistant Professor in Special Education. She is currently completing a doctoral degree from Oklahoma State University in Professional Education Studies with a focus in Special Education. She currently holds a Master’s degree of Education in Reading and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mild/Moderate Disabilities from NSU. Her research interests include the inclusion of students with disabilities and the multi-sensory approach to literacy instruction and how this approach improves literacy skills for students with dyslexia.
