Dr. Pamela Fly has worked as an educator for 40 years and currently serves as Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs where she works with accreditation, state/ federal reporting requirements, curriculum processes, general education, developmental education, and policy. During 2015-16, she served as Interim Dean of the NSU Broken Arrow campus, and in 2013-14, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs in addition to her other responsibilities. Prior to joining Academic Affairs, Dr. Fly served as associate dean of NSU’s College of Education and held the same position at the University of Central Oklahoma.

Her policy work includes a position as Director of Accreditation for the Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation (now Office of Educational Quality and Accountability) where she worked in areas of accreditation, performance standards, and teacher preparation reform. For more than 15 years, Dr. Fly chaired accreditation teams for the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE now CAEP), and currently serves as a peer reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
