TAHLEQUAH – Ten high school students from across Oklahoma were the lucky recipients of $500 scholarships from Northeastern State University on Saturday, Nov. 8 during RiverHawk Rally.

Over 350 students attended the largest RiverHawk Rally to date, and a random drawing chose the winners of the tuition waivers. RiverHawk Rally allows high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to visit campus, meet students and faculty, tour housing facilities and learn about financial aid programs at Northeastern.

The $500 scholarship winners include Kerry Roberson, Adair High School; Abby Stephens, Pryor High School; Kayla Tracy, Tulsa Christian Heritage Education Center; Callie McCurdy, Jenks High School; Alan McCoy, Westville High School; CheyAnne Daniels, Quapaw High School; LaQuica Drew, Vian High School; Caitlin Bludworth, Mustang High School; Holly Borin, Bixby High School; and DaiJon Runnels, Beggs High School.

If you missed the chance to visit Northeastern during RiverHawk Rally, we conduct campus tours for students and their families during the week,” said Jason Jessie, Office of High School and College Relations director.
