Green Country Watercolor Society to display art at NSUBA

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Beginning April 2 and running through the end of the month, the art exhibit, “Art in April” will be on display at the Northeastern State University Broken Arrow campus. 
The exhibit will be available to view in the Visitors’ Center Gallery of the Administrative Services building from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and is open to the public. 
A reception will also take place on Thursday, April 3 from 6-8 p.m., where artists will be on hand to discuss their artwork. At 6:30 p.m. Judy Aldridge, a Green Country Watercolor Society member, will present a watercolor demonstration, and Barron Ryan, a local pianist, will be performing at the reception. 
The exhibit at NSUBA will feature work from members of the Green Country Watercolor Society on a variety of subject matter. 
Green Country Watercolor Society representative, Molly Blankenship, boasts that its main purpose is “to promote awareness and interest in water media painting, with a focus on excellence in technique and materials, as well as encouraging and assisting water media painters to expand their skills and contacts in the arts.”
