Time For Three to open 2012-13 Galaxy of Stars
TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Time For Three, a trio of talented musicians who defy classification, opens the 2012-13 Galaxy of Stars Series, presented by the Sequoyah Institute at Northeastern State University.
The concert is Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the NSU Center for the Performing Arts, 605 N. Grand Avenue. A matinee Learning LIVE performance is at 1 p.m. in the NSU CPA.
Time For Three, often called TF3, is a trio of two violins and a double bass performing music which blends elements of classical, country-western, gypsy and jazz. The group of Zachary De Pue and Nicolas Kendall on violin and Ranaan Myer on bass was formed at the Curtis Institute for Music in Philadelphia.
Ticket prices are $20 for adults, $18 for NSU alumni, $16 for NSU employees and seniors 60 and over, $10 for students and $6 for NSU students. Tickets can be purchased 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Woods House, 529 Seminary Ave. To reserve tickets call 918-458-2075. For more information visit nsuok.edu/si.
