Where Will I Live?

So that you can enjoy the convenience of living on campus, Northeastern State University offers traditional co-ed residence halls, a suite-style facility, and two family apartment complexes. Each of our residence halls is staffed with highly qualified professionals.

At NSU, we recognize that learning outside the classroom is a vital part of your college experience. It’s the day-to-day opportunities to engage in student life and the relationships you form with fellow students that shape your college experience. Various campus living communities are available to suit your circumstances, with amenities and room design options that promise the comfortable feeling of home.

If you have completed fewer than 30 credit hours, you will be required to live on campus, unless you meet one or more of the following conditions:

  • Live with your parents within a reasonable commuting distance.
  • Are married.
  • Have dependent children.
  • Are 21 years of age.

To help you gain the most from living on campus, we encourage you to learn more about the Residence Life Program and explore the opportunities that await you. Staff members are available to answer questions, help you solve problems, provide programs and activities to help you meet new people, and relax in a friendly, holistic environment.

Because priority is given to students currently assigned to university housing, we encourage you to apply early for the upcoming school year.
