The Northeastern State University Spirit Staff consists of a coed cheer squad, the Majestics Pom Squad, and the newest addition to our University, the Riverhawk mascot.
The Spirit Staff is highly involved with all athletics at NSU. They perform at all home games during both football and basketball season, at pep rallies, and at away games. In addition to the commitments, these members are highly visible representatives of the university and are valuable members of the public relations ventures.
The Spirit Staff scholarship at NSU is the best among four-year institutions in the state of Oklahoma. This past year members received a tuition waiver ranging of at least $500/semester. The Spirit Staff is a demanding commitment that proves to be worth every moment.
All members of the NSU Spirit Staff must have health insurance. To tryout, individuals must provide a copy of their health insurance when they attend open gym.
