Hall of Fame

Each year, in the spring the Northeastern State University inducts students, athletic teams, or student organizations into the NSU Hall of Fame. Inductees are selected based upon outstanding achievements resulting in state or national recognition or for outstanding, unique contributions to the Northeastern State University life.

The criteria for the award include:

· Must be graduating seniors;
· Must be in good standing;
· Must have brought recognition through achievement on a state, regional, or national level to the individual and the University, and/or based on outstanding and unique contributions to University life;
· Individuals may only be inducted into the Hall of Fame once.

Nominations for the NSU Hall of Fame must be submitted by either a facualty or staff member by mail or email to the Office of Student Affairs.

All nominations should be received by 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2008.

All nominated students will be contacted and encouraged to submit supporting documentation to the committee.

All nominations should include the following information:

· Individual/Organization name, campus sponsor (if applicable), address, phone number of nominee(s);
· A narrative explaining the reason(s) why you feel they should be considered as an inductee into the current year’s Hall of Fame. Please provide any and all information that would be beneficial to the committee members when they meet to make the selections.
