Summer 2008: ONLINE CLASSES

If this is your first online course at NSU...
   1. Go to the NSU Home Page at www.nsuok.edu
   2. Click on the Hot Links.
   3. When the menu appears, click on Blackboard.
   4. You will see the Welcome to the NSU Blackboard Login page.
   5. At the bottom right of the Welcome to the NSU Blackboard Login page, click on NSU Blackboard
      Student Guide.
   6. Click on the links (blue letters) on the NSU Blackboard Student Guide page to learn how to use
      Blackboard.
	  
Before Online Classes Begin:
   1. Contact your Instructor.
      Faculty e-mail addresses are located in the Directory on the NSU Home Page.  If you do not know
      your instructor's name, contact the department or college in which the course is offered. 
      Include your social security number, NSU userid, current address, telephone number, and primary
      e-mail address.  Your instructor may make initial contact with you by using your NSU e-mail
      address.
   2. Logon from off campus.
      The Blackboard Student Tutorial will explain how.  If you are taking an online course that does
      not use Blackboard, contact your instructor for instructions.

Online Course Requirements
If you are taking an online course, you must be able to do the following:
   1. Logon Blackboard (if your course uses Blackboard).
   2. Maneuver through Windows including file/folder manipulation.
   3. Search the Internet, and
   4. Attach files to e-mail.
