May Intersession Calendar

• May 11: Residence Halls Open for Intersession
• May 12: Intersession Classes Begin
• May 13: Last Date to Add Intersession Classes
• May 14: Last Date to Withdraw from Intersession Classes and Receive a Refund
• May 26: Memorial Day Holiday, campuses closed
• May 30: Last Date to Drop Intersession Classes with a “W”
• June 5: Last Date to Drop a Single class or Withdraw from All Intersession Classes
  NOTE: A grade of “W” can be assigned in classes dropped between May 31 and May 5 only if the student has a passing grade at the time the class is dropped.
• June 6: Intersession Classes End

Eight Week Summer Class Calendar

• March 1: Applications for Summer Graduation Due
• Mar 24-June 11: NSU EXCELS Telephone Enrollment and Add/Drop
• June 6: Faculty Available for Advising in Faculty Offices
• June 6: All Fees are Due
• June 8: Residence Halls Open 10 a.m.
• June 9: Eight week classes Begin
• June 9-11: Add/Drop for Eight Week Classes
• June 9-11: Late Enrollment, Basement, Administration Building, $10 fee
• June 11: Last Date to Enroll and Add Eight Week Classes
• June 13: Last Date to Withdraw from Eight Week Classes and Receive a Refund
• July 4: Fourth of July Holiday, campuses closed
• July 7: Midterm
• July 10: Return of Title IV Refund Date
• July 16: Last Day to Drop Eight Week Classes with a “W” (short term classes are pro-rated at time from start of class)
• July 30: Last Day to Drop a Single Class or Withdraw from all Eight Week Classes
  NOTE: A grade of “W” can be assigned in classes dropped between July 14 and July 26 only if the student has a passing grade at the time the class is dropped.
• July 31: Finals
• July 31: Semester Ends
• August 4: Fall Intersession Begins
• August 5: Faculty Grade Verifications Due (1:00 p.m.)
• August 7: Grades Available at NSU Web Services (grades will not be mailed)
• August 11: Earliest Date that Official Transcripts will be available.

First Four Week Summer Session Calendar

• March 1: Applications for Summer Graduation Due

• June 26: Last Day to Drop Four Week Classes with a “W” (classes less than the full 4 weeks are pro-rated at time from start of class)
• July 2: Last Day to Drop a Single Class or Withdraw from all Four Week Classes
  NOTE: A grade of “W” can be assigned in classes dropped between June 27 and July 2 only if the student has a passing grade at the time the class is dropped.
• July 3: Last Day of Class for First Four Week Classes
