Fall Intersession

AUGUST INTERSESSION CALENDAR

  • August 3 - Residence Halls Open for Intersession
  • August 4 - Intersession Classes BEGIN
  • August 4 - Last Date to Add Intersession Classes
  • August 5 - Last Date to Withdraw from Intersession Classes and Receive a Refund
  • August 12 - Last Date to Drop Intersession Classes with a “W”
  • August 14 - Last Date to Drop a Single class or Withdraw from All Intersession Classes
    • NOTE: A grade of “W” can be assigned in classes dropped between August 13 and August 14 only if the student has a passing grade at the time the class is dropped.
  • August 15 - Intersession Classes End

Classes taken during the August intersession will appear on the transcript under the Fall 2008 semester.  A student may enroll in a maximum of 3 hours during the intersession and total regular enrollment for Fall 2008 and the intersession must not exceed 27 hours.  Students on full time financial aid must enroll in at least 12 hours for Fall 2008.  Courses taken during the intersession will count toward partially meeting the credit hour requirements for financial aid but the money will not be credited to accounts until after the regular fall school semester begins.  If a student enrolls in the intersession and the regular fall session to become eligible for financial aid and then only completes courses in the intersession, they will not receive financial aid and will be individually responsible for paying the bill.

Enrollment Period for Intersession
The enrollment period will be March 24 through August 4  by EXCELS.  No REFUNDS will be allowed after August 5.  For classes meeting less than the two weeks, no enrollment or refunds will be allowed after the first class meeting.
