Bob attended Northeastern State University from 1946-1948, and he graduated from OU in 1950 with a bachelor of science in Geological Engineering. Bob retired from the oil industry in 1985, where as a geologist-engineer he worked for several oil companies in both Oklahoma and Texas. Bob also served in the U.S. Navy. Bob and his wife Norma, whom he married in 1953, reside in Houston, TX, where they are both still very active in their church, St. Paul’s Methodist, and their community. Bob has been involved in the Oklahoma City and Houston Geological Societies, as well as Boy Scouts, the Petroleum Club, and the VFW. Both Bob and Norma are Life Members of the Northeastern State University Alumni Association.
