DEPARTMENT OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES

The Department of Professional Studies encompasses two professional fields of study:
Criminal Justice and Social Work.

The Criminal Justice & Legal Studies Program offers the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Students may choose from two options: (1) Criminal Justice Studies or (2) Paralegal Studies. Both Criminal Justice Studies and Paralegal Studies are available for a minor. The undergraduate degrees are offered on both the Tahlequah and Broken Arrow campuses. A Master of Science in Criminal Justice is available on the Broken Arrow campus.

The Social Work Program offers a Bachelor of Social Work which is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education and meets educational requirements for professional licensure. The program is available on both the Tahlequah and Broken Arrow campuses. A minor in Social Welfare is also offered.

As director of the Department of Professional Studies, I invite you to explore and consider our programs for your educational needs. If there is anything I can do to assist you in answering your questions or in making your decision please feel free to contact me.
