Bachelor of Specialty Degrees

Bachelor of General Studies

  1. General Education - 44 hours
  2. Three Areas of Concentration (18 hours each) - 54 hours
  3. Electives not less than - 26 hours

Bachelor of Muisc Education

  1. General Education/Prerequisites 45 hours
  2. Major/Minor 63 hours
  3. Professional Education 29 hours

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

  1. General Education/Prerequisites 48-53 hours
  2. Major/Minor 30 + 30 hours (30 hours of the major is transfer credit or credit-by-examination for previous lower division nursing courses.)
  3. Nursing Support Courses 3 hours
  4. Electives to make total of not less than 124 hours

Bachelor of Social Work

  1. General Education/Prerequisites 45 hours
  2. Major 54 hours
  3. Electives to make total not less than 124 hours

Bachelor of technology

  1. General Education/Prerequisites 44 hours
  2. Bachelor of Technology Core 27 hours
  3. Technical Courses 27-42 hours
  4. Electives 11-26 hours
ENGLISH PROFICIENCY English proficiency is a graduation requirement. Components I and II of English proficiency should be met with grades of “C” or better prior to graduation.
UPPER DIVSION CREDIT Total hours must include at least 40 hours of credit in courses numbered 3000 and 4000. Thirty (30) hours advanced standing credit will be awarded
after successfully completing 12 hours of the nursing major with a grade of “C” or better.
LIBERAL ARTS AND SCIENCES At least 40 semester credit hours are required in the Liberal Arts and Sciences.
