The International Business major has been developed for students who are actively seeking to focus their education on the global dimensions of business. The International Business major has the objective of providing students with a solid basic business education and knowledge of the international dimensions of business. In addition to IBUS courses, students also choose an area of specialization to obtain depth in a field of business (e.g., marketing, finance, management, etc.) that will complement the international training and assist them in obtaining a first job.

It is recommended that students in the International Business major select their elective courses from the following areas:
| ENGLISH PROFICIENCY | English proficiency is a graduation requirement. Components I and II of English proficiency should be met with grades of “C” or better prior to the completion of 60 credit hours. |

| UPPER DIVISION CREDIT | Total hours must include at least 40 hours of credit in courses numbered 3000 and above. |
| LIBERAL ARTS AND SCIENCES | At least 40 semester credit hours are required in the Liberal Arts and Sciences. |
