"I enrolled in NSU's Career Services in the fall of 2002. I came to NSU to take undergraduate education courses to complete my teaching certification after having obtained a BA from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. I walked into the Career Services Office one fall afternoon and met Gayle. I gave her my resume which she was kind enough to help me to revise so that it would reflect my goals of gaining employment as an educator. We worked together on my resume and I used it to get my first teaching job in North Carolina. I traveled a bit and then returned to Oklahoma and Gayle again helped me out. This time updating my files and letting districts in the Tulsa area know that I was interested in a position. Gayle and her staff have been so helpful they were part of the reason I decided to continue my education at NSU and as of this past December I completed a Masters in Education from NSU. I recommend everyone take advantage of NSU's career office which looks at you as an individual and not just a number."
