Get Connected! The Parent connection prgram is design to provide parents with information about NSU in order to better support their student.

Parents of NSU Freshmen have the choice of attending an optional session. Dates coming soon.
The two hours session will provide parents with the critical information and knowledge to assist their freshmen students during their first year of transition into college life.

The following information will be covered during the Parent Connection program:

  
     
  Programs and Services at NSU  
     
  Rights and Responsibilities of NSU students and parents  
     
  Strategies for parents to best support and challenge students in the successful transition to university life  
     
  Question and Answer Session - with a panel including a faculty member, an administrator, a current student, and a proud NSU parent
