Applying for Admission as a Freshman

All applicants seeking early admission must complete an application for admission, submit a high school transcript (seven semester minimum) containing most current class rank, grade-point average and ACT scores. The final, official transcript must include your date of graduation and be mailed directly from your school to the Office of Admissions.

Students must meet the criteria for both the high school curricular requirements and the high school performance criteria . If you meet both, you are eligible for admission. You should also review NSU's residency guidelines.

Rookie Bridge Camp

Entering freshmen may also want to participate in Rookie Bridge Camp, a fun filled 2-day camp held the week before classes begin in August. Especially for freshmen who recently graduated from high school, it is planned and produced by students for students. You'll get information on what to expect and how to succeed at NSU, as well as a chance to meet other freshmen and upper classmen.
