All fees are due by January 8, 2013. If payment is not paid by February 15, 2013, late fees will be assessed and a hold will be placed on any future enrollment and on your academic records.
If you have financial aid, it may be used to pay your tuition and fees. At the end of the add/drop period, your financial aid will be applied directly to your outstanding tuition, fees, book charges, housing, etc. Any excess fund will be distributed through the NSU Green Card.
NSU disburses all refunds to students electronically. Students are mailed a debit card called the NSU Green Card. Please do not throw this card away. The numbers from this card are used by the student to activate their information with a banking services company named Higher One. As a part of this activation, the student will indicate whether they wish to open a free checking account with Higher One or if they prefer to have any refunds routed directly to an existing checking or savings account. More information may be found at NSU Greencard.
Login to goNSU to view all of your NSU account activity. Call (918) 458-2160 or (918) 449-6256 to discuss details of your account with a student account specialist.
Electronic payments may be made by selecting the “Make a Payment” link found at goNSU. Specifically:
Several payment options are available through the "Make a Payment" online service. Students may opt to authorize payment using a Web Check (ACH) transaction. Those students who have an active OneAccount through HigherOne can make a direct payment from that account. Both of these options are free to use. An additional, related feature gives users the opportunity to store their ACH information, so it will be available for use easily during future transaction.
For more information about payments, visit the Business Affairs E-Pay webpage.
Make your check payable to Northeastern State University. Mail the check to: Northeastern State University Office of Business Affairs Tahlequah, OK 74464-2399
Credit card payments may also be made securely and easily through the "Make a Payment" online service. Credit card payments on account will only be accepted through this online method. Credit cards accepted include MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Students or others who wish to make a credit card payment while on campus may access the site through computers at the Cashier locations, with assistance from Business Affairs staff if needed. Persons making credit card payments will be assessed a 2.75% convenience fee.
Refunds are calculated based on the day the official withdrawal is filed in the Registrar’s Office (in person, by fax or by post mark date), not when the student stopped attending classes.
