Students Awarded NSU Bookstore Scholarship
TAHLEQUAH – The Northeastern State University Bookstore recently awarded five scholarshipsfor the 2003-2004 academic year. One student in each of NSU's five colleges received a $500 scholarship ($250 in the fall semester and $250 in the spring semester). To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants had to be full-time students with a 2.5 GPA who have declared a major and are active in professional and social activities on campus.
The following students were selected as recipients of the NSU Bookstore Scholarship: · Kristen Schnell (Muskogee) is a junior at NSU and a pre-professional studies health major. · Kisha Zwart (Broken Arrow) is an NSU senior majoring in early childhood education. · Rebecca Thompson (Dewar) is a junior at NSU and a political science major. · Victoria Hamilton (Tahlequah) is an NSU senior majoring in English. · Tristan Smith (Fort Worth, TX) is a senior at NSU and a dietetics major.
