NSU's Green Country Jazz Series begins Oct. 7

Northeastern State University's College of Liberal Arts and Department of Performing Arts proudly announces the lineup for the 2010-11 Green Country Jazz Series.

The series opens Oct. 7 with a performance by trombonist Conrad Herwig with the NSU Jazz Ensemble at the Jazz Lab. Tickets are $12; students are admitted for $6.

Other dates for the Green Country Jazz Series are drummer John Riley on Nov. 4, Jambalaya on Feb. 4, trumpeter Terell Stafford on March 6 and saxaphonist Seamus Blake on April 7. All shows feature the NSU Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Tommy Poole.
